Injury News: Rafael to Miss League Cup Final

| Sunday, March 1, 2009

Quite sad story for the boy who has given everything for each League Cup's game and he going to miss his very first United's medal. I see great potential in Da Silva's twin. I'm sure he is in pole position to replace Gary but unfortunately for Fabio, he's going to wait several years before he can replace Evra.

Meanwhile, Johnny Evans could be feature for this game although reports says that he's not 100% recover from the injury. To be honest, I rather have Vidic than Evans on the pitch because it could be risky for him where he could pickup serious injury. We are going to need him if something happen to one of our central defenders.

Gibson and Wellbeck are confirm in starting 11. I also hope that Possebon will be playing. I think he's going to be great one day. Same goes to Tosic, I want to see more of him although I'm sure Nani will play left winger for this game. For goalkeeper, I think its going to be Ben Foster.

Pavlyuchenko Calls Berbatov An 'Arrogant Snob'

|

Seeing Pavlyuchenko giving media statement is like seeing Simon Cowell in American Idol. Its not something you want to hear but its the truth.

Here's what he says: -

He expressed some admiration for Irishman Robbie Keane, whilst his words for Dimitar Berbatov were not as glowing.

"Robbie Keane returned to the Spurs as if he never left the club. It's evident that he's a man of authority inside the team which is good for us. He was always liked as far as I can judge," he continued.

"If Berbatov returned it would be taken quite differently.

"I heard tales that he was an arrogant snob who after a training session would just throw his dirty boots to the man who takes care of our footwear saying: 'Clean them for me!'

"No one likes such people. Still he's now playing for Manchester United."

No disrespect to all Berbatov's lovers out there but I actually believe what he said. If you don't believe me its ok but look at the way he play. Every time he ask for the ball and didn't get it the way he wanted it to be, he makes certain disguise look at his teammate although he just few months at the club.

Compare that to so called 'arrogant' Ronaldo. For God's sake, he is the best player in the world. We all know Ronaldo's dream is to play for Real Madrid but for the time being he is United's player and he's giving 100% in every game and never complain. Or look at Tevez, he's just a loan player but give everything just to play in every match. Be grateful Berbatov!

Now Figo Telling CR7 to Join Real Madrid

|

Why on earth people keep poking other people's business instead of focusing on their own problem or in this case their game? Figo is a great player but if he keeps making this kind of statement, people are going to lose their respect for him. I believe nobody have the rights to say this kind of things.

You can read the whole story here.

Each player has their own contract which they should respect it because nobody force them to sign it; its their own decision. And please, don't called it a 'slavery'. No slave in history get paid £120,000 per week. I want to be that kind of slave too. Real's era is over and its time for other clubs to win the Champion League too.

To be honest, I'm against Berbatov's move to United because he is being disrespect to Spurs fans and disloyal to the club which is not the way you should end your career at any club. And to Figo, if Real Madrid is that great, why did your beloved club sold you? They thrown you away because you're old whereas we still have Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes continue giving their best service althought not with 100% capability.

United Target Another Brazillian, Walter Henrique da Silva (Video Included)

|

According to a report in the British tabloid The Daily Mirror, English giants Manchester United are eyeing Brazilian youngster Walter.

The 19-year-old forward, who currently plies his trade with Brazilian club Internacional, is highly-rated in his homeland despite not yet featuring in a first-team match.

United's scouts were undoubtedly alerted by the 5ft 10in striker's starring role for the Selecao's under-20 team in the South American Under-20 Cup where he finished as the tournament's top scorer with five goals.

It is thought that the likes of Juventus and Barcelona have also been keeping tabs on Walter, but the Red Devils could land the €5.6 million-rated (£5m) starlet this summer.

Based on the video above, this boy could be another Adriano. Explosive striker with deadly strike who can score from long range. He can the future star as long he don't get lazy like Adriano.

United Could Make 10 Points Clear At The Top of EPL

|

Year 2009 seems to be another great year for us. Tonight, Liverpool dropped another 3 important points which leave us with 7 points lead at the top of the league with a game in hand. Chelsea trying to close up the gap but only goal difference separate the second place; both with 55 points.

I can't believe myself that Liverpool were beaten 2-0 by struggling Middlesbrough at the Riverside but like I said earlier, anything can happen in football. Chelsea also very lucky after Lampard managed to score the winning just before the final whistle. Here's the full result for Liverpool and Chelsea: -

Arsenal meanwhile pickup another draw, this time against Fulham. This is shocking to me because they not only in danger losing Champion League spot but also the UEFA Cup place with Everton just 2 points behind them. With current situation, I don't think Aston Villa dropping lots of points until the end of the season, same goes to Everton.
